Peripheral Booster Pumps
The Peripheral pump, unlike the Displacement and Centrifugal pumps, pumps the medium in a Peripheral channel. The Peripheral pump is suitable for a variety of applications, due to:
The ability to transport gas without interrupting the liquid flow or without damaging the bearings due to dry running
The high Capacity/Head (Q/H) ideal for pressure-dependent system regulation
Very low suction head (NPSH)
The narrow columns (peripheral channels) do not allow abrasive components in the liquids
Peripheral pumps are particularly recommended for small capacities and high delivery pressures.
