The Patay DD120 Nitrile Diaphragm Spares Kit – Comprises of 2 Diaphragms, 2 fixing screws and washers, 1 conrod, and 1 diaphragm plate. Nitrile (Buna-N) is used in applications involving petroleum/oil-based fluids such as leaded gasoline, fuel oils, kerosene, turpentine and motor oils. In wide use throughout the fuel processing industry, Buna-N is also referred to as nitrile and provides moderate flex life and good abrasion resistance. For food and beverage applications, versions are available that comply with FDA 21 CFR 177 standards Nitrile (Buna-N) can stand working temperatures from -10 °C up to approximately 90°C on a continuous basis, and higher temperatures intermittently. Nitrile (Buna-N) resists aging caused by heat very well. Nitrile (Buna-N) resistance to sunlight is very poor however abrasion and tear resistance of Nitrile (Buna-N) is very good.
