The Flygt C3045 are equipped with a shrouded, single or multi vane-vane impeller that runs in a volute.  The shape and size of the impeller is designed to minimise clogging, which makes the Flygt C3045 ideal for waste water applications.  The Flygt C3045 truly is a reliable submersible pump for residential, commercial and light industrial applications. Over the years, the classic C-pump has proven to be both reliable and robust. The Flygt C-range covers a wide capacity range and is designed to handle different types of media.

The Flygt C3045 in this section features a shrouded single-vane impeller. It has excellent flow passing properties that reduce the risk for clogging in the impeller channel. A narrow gap between the interchangeable wear rings ensures high efficiency.

• Short shaft overhang. Reduces shaft deflection while increasing seal and bearing life.
• Motor designed for submersible use. Heat is concentrated to the stator core for improved cooling properties
• Martensitic stainless steel shaft gives maximum strength and corrosive resistance
• Double mechanical seal system. Two sets of mechanical shaft seals work independently to provide double security. Available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC) depending on pumped media.
• Griplock seal system. Secure locking of the shaft, no rubber friction, no grub screws and no shaft damage.

Twin oil bathed mechanical seals ensure both reliability and longevity.  The oil chamber is filled with an environmentally friendly white oil that is free from aromatic hydrocarbons and is approved by the FDA for use in the food industry.  The motor is designed specifically for the Flygt pump ensuring years of trouble free operation.  The Flygt C3045 is made even more reliable being engineered from a cast-iron shell.
